B&R Enclosures Supports Sydney Ports Upgrade at Patrick Terminals

Patrick Terminals, a key hub for Australia’s port-related operations, required upgraded enclosures for the Sydney Ports upgrade to enhance automation and security systems. Following B&R Enclosures’ successful work on the Brisbane Port upgrade, we were engaged to provide stainless steel enclosures that could also be standardised for future projects, reducing time and cost associated with custom designs.

B&R supplied high-quality stainless steel enclosures through a local TLE electrical wholesaler branch, which were then fitted out by a local switchboard company. The enclosures were pre-cut for control and indicator lights, as well as ventilation units, including fans, filters, and heaters, ready for immediate installation.

Additionally, B&R provided 380 Monarch IP enclosures to replace damaged refrigeration cabinets across the site. By delivering standardised, pre-configured enclosures, B&R helped streamline operations, maintain reliability, and support long-term efficiency for port operations for Patrick.

This project highlights B&R’s ability to deliver practical, customised solutions that simplify complex industrial upgrades while meeting strict operational requirements.
