Reliable Rack Solutions for Fiona Stanley Hospital

B&R Enclosures was proud to support Middy’s WA and Nilsen WA in delivering the rack solution for the $2 billion Fiona Stanley Hospital project. Tendering began in February 2011, and after a competitive process, Middy’s was awarded the contract in October 2011. Drawing on our strong history of collaboration, Middy’s and Nilsen engaged B&R to supply the required racks and associated equipment.

The project involved strict delivery schedules, staged supply windows and a need for consistent, transparent communication across all parties. Maintaining close coordination was essential to ensuring the correct equipment was delivered at the right time and that the project remained on track.

With tight timelines throughout 2012, B&R worked closely with Middy’s and the end customer to meet every milestone. When the site was unable to receive full deliveries, B&R supported the project by storing racks until they were needed. As a landmark healthcare development, it was critical that all deadlines were met, and B&R delivered with confidence and reliability.

Fiona Stanley Hospital has been designed to be one of Australia’s leading health facilities, integrating advanced clinical care, research and education with state-of-the-art ICT systems. The hospital features a fully integrated network of digital technologies, wireless infrastructure, telehealth capabilities, advanced security systems and seamless connectivity between medical equipment and digital records. These systems support high-quality, efficient and patient-centric care throughout Western Australia.

B&R is proud to have contributed to the foundation of this ICT environment by supplying reliable, high-quality rack infrastructure that supports the hospital’s mission for accessible, integrated and technology-enabled healthcare.
