Brooklyn to Lara Gas Pipeline 

B&R Enclosures supplied robust solutions for the Brooklyn to Lara gas pipeline project in Melbourne’s Inner West, providing protection for cathodic power units designed to prevent pipeline corrosion by matching the potential of the pipes to the surrounding ground.

The project required flexible enclosures capable of accommodating internal accessories while providing secure protection in areas prone to vandalism. B&R supplied Monarch IP enclosures, chosen for their adaptability and durability. To blend with the surrounding environment, the enclosures were powdercoated in Hawthorne Green and fitted with standard mounting pans, brackets, and lever-handle locks. A custom internal escutcheon was also installed using the standard mounting system to enhance functionality.

All enclosures were delivered on schedule and met the customer’s specifications, ensuring the cathodic protection units were secure, reliable, and ready for operation.
