Reliable Switchboard Solutions for Aspect on Archer Multi-Residential Development
Aspect on Archer is a major residential development in South East Queensland, comprising over 160 apartments and delivered by Aspect Property Group. B&R Enclosures was engaged by D&L Williamson Electrical to supply switchboard and metering solutions across three distinct stages of the project, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant power distribution.
For the incoming mains electricity, D&L selected B&R’s Signature SE range of switchboards. Certified to both Australian and international standards and rated for incomer currents up to 3400Amps, the Signature SE provided the capacity needed to manage high energy flows across the large-scale development.
To distribute power to individual apartments, B&R provided the Infinity 3G Econo range. Designed for space-saving installations in locked cupboards on every second floor, this modular solution safely contained all wiring without the need for full enclosures, reducing unnecessary costs. Rated for up to 630Amps and certified to IEC 61439 and AS/NZS 61439, the Infinity 3G allowed B&R engineers to pre-fit electrical components before handing over to D&L for final installation.
During construction, temporary power was supplied via B&R Horizon Q20 enclosures, which complied fully with Queensland Supply Authority Rules and could be relocated easily as the site progressed.
Throughout the project, close collaboration and open communication between B&R and D&L ensured efficient design changes, smooth installation, and cost-effective outcomes. Joshua Williamson of D&L noted that B&R’s team “made the design process a smooth operation.”
B&R’s solutions at Aspect on Archer demonstrate the company’s ability to deliver modular, scalable, and reliable electrical systems for multi-residential developments. Work on the project will continue through to completion, with additional collaborations planned for other residential projects including Walsh St Apartments in Milton and Arvia at Coolangatta.
